Every MCU Post-Credits Scene Released Ahead Of Avengers: Endgame

Marvel releases every post-credits scene from movies within the Marvel Cinematic Universe in anticipation of the premiere of Avengers: Endgame. Post-credits scenes have become an MCU staple, the thing that keeps moviegoers in their seats long after the credits roll. Some post-credits scenes have led to significant reveals, while others have teased future movies.

Avengers: Endgame will see the end of the massive story that has been a large part of Phase 3 of the MCU. In Avengers: Infinity War, the Avengers saw half of the universe’s population get decimated at the hands of the Mad Titan Thanos. In Endgame, the Avengers will deal with the aftermath of that destruction, as well as come together to figure out exactly how they can fix the world, or at least stop Thanos from doing more damage. Marvel recently released a series of posters highlighting those Avengers who were among the fallen, as well as champion the current team of Avengers moving forward into the new film. However, the plot for Endgame is so secretive that only one actor, Robert Downey Jr., was allowed to read the entire Endgame script.

In anticipation of the release of Endgame on April 27, Marvel took to Twitter and released the post-credits scenes from each of its movies, from 2008’s Iron-Man through 2019’s Captain Marvel.

Although we’re less than a week away from Endgame, no one knows how the film will play out and how the Avengers will finally defeat Thanos. However, Downey recently promised that the last eight minutes of the movie are the best in the entire MCU. As the film helps wrap up the end of the MCU’s Phase 3, which ends with Spider-Man: Far From Home, it’s likely that some Avengers will die, or at least retire, with new team members taking up the helm, including Captain Marvel. In an Audi short film, it was revealed how Captain Marvel learned about the Avengers; that short film also confirmed that Goose, the Flerken disguised as a cat, survived Thanos’ snap.

Marvel has pulled out all the stops in promoting Endgame, spending a record-breaking $200 million on marketing. In comparison, the company only spent $150 million on Infinity War. It’s betting big on the finale to the story set up in Infinity War. It’s also likely that Endgame will become one of the biggest movies in box office history since the film has already substantially outsold Infinity War in pre-purchased tickets.

Will Eric Stoltz’s Back To The Future Footage Ever Be Released?

Eric Stoltz was famously cast as Marty McFly in Back To The Future and shot for over a month before being replaced, but will his footage ever be released? Back To The Future was a project created by Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) and creative partner Bob Gale, and told the story of a teenager accidentally sent back in time. Zemeckis had always wanted Michael J. Fox for the lead role of Marty, but the actor was busy filming a TV show when production was set to start. Eric Stoltz was cast instead, but after filming most of the movie, Zemeckis and Gale realized Stoltz wasn’t right for the part.

They showed assembled footage of Back To The Future to Steven Speilberg, who concurred the actor felt miscast. The team made the difficult decision to fire Stoltz from the project, and a gap in Fox’s schedule allowed him to quickly jump on and take over. Since Stoltz appeared in nearly every scene, almost the entire movie had to be reshot with Fox. While this added millions to the budget, the shoot went smooth once Fox came on and the movie would later become a beloved classic that spawned two sequels.

Related: What If Back To The Future Was Cast Today?

While stills of Eric Stoltz in Back To The Future have hinted at what the movie could have looked like with him playing Marty, no full sequences of him have ever emerged. The closest fans have come to seeing Stoltz in the movie came from a brief, wordless montage of footage found on a 2010 Blu-ray release where the actor appears in key scenes that were later reshot with Fox.

Zemeckis and Gale have both praised Eric Stoltz over the years, stating that while he gave a great dramatic performance, his intensity clashed with the tone they were trying to achieve. There have been conflicting reports over just how much of Back To The Future Stoltz had shot before being replaced; some stated it was a month, and while others put it closer to the movie almost being wrapped.

Either way, that leaves a lot of unused footage of Eric Stoltz from Back To The Future sitting in a vault somewhere. Producer Bob Gale confirmed the footage wasn’t destroyed and still exists, and they didn’t include more on the 2010 Blu-ray out of respect to Stoltz. Gale also refused to rule out releasing more footage on a future release but nothing is planned. Theoretically, it would be possible to assemble Stoltz’s footage into a brand new version of Back To The Future – which would almost feel like a bizarre alternate timeline in itself – but there are currently no concrete plans to release it.

While Back To The Future fans have been dying to see more footage of Eric Stoltz’s take on Marty, there’s a good chance it will remain locked away. There was a reason it wasn’t used in the first place, so the creatives involved might want to keep it under lock and key.

Where These 20 Recently Released WWE Superstars Are Wrestling Today

Wrestlers have started to realize they can make a great living outside of WWE. Many years have featured wrestlers believing WWE is the only game in town and the place they must work to find happiness. WWE is still the only promotion at its level as a global juggernaut, but other promotions also offer positive things for the free agents. All Elite Wrestling has launched with a huge backer and big goals for the future starting in May of 2019. New Japan and Ring of Honor are running a sold out Madison Square Garden venue during WrestleMania weekend as both companies grow. Even Impact Wrestling has its own place in the industry with a fun product.

The independent scene is booming as many other promotions run during the weekend to deliver great cards. Wrestlers benefit most from this as they don’t have to continue wrestling in WWE if they don’t want to. Rumors have indicated that The Revival, Mike Kanellis, and Maria Kanellis have requested their release in recent weeks. Part of this is due to the success achieved by other wrestlers that have left WWE. We will look at the wrestlers thriving, struggling, and everything in-between in the life after WWE. Find out just what these former superstars are up to right now. These are twenty recently released WWE superstars and an update on where they are wrestling today.

Join us for Where These 20 Recently Released WWE Superstars Are Wrestling Today.

20 Big Cass: Independent circuit

Things changed so quickly for Big Cass within a few months. The return from an injury showcased Cass in the biggest angle of his career against Daniel Bryan. WWE used Bryan’s first singles feud storyline after getting cleared to come out of retirement to face off with Cass.

Backstage issues caused WWE to give up on Cass and surprisingly release him. Cass made a few appearances on independent promotions with his biggest match coming against MVP at Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore. Currently, he is recovering from a health issue but was recently brought in for “a work” at an ROH G1Supercard event. Perhaps Big Cass will be back in the limelight sooner than we think.

19 Rich Swann: Impact Wrestling

Former Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann was a major part of the 205 Live Show and cruiserweight division in the early stages. Swann, however, lost favor with WWE when he was in the news for negative things. WWE took a wait and see approach with Swann, but he wanted the release if they didn’t plan to use him any time soon.

A connection with Impact Wrestling would see Swann become a full-time roster member and an important fixture on the show. Swann would win the X-Division Championship and is the face of that division. Impact even discussed Swann as one of the opponents for Chris Jericho if he agreed to show up, but a deal was not reached. This still shows how much Impact believes in Swann.

18 Rosa Mendes: Recently returned on independent circuit

Rosa Mendes is not a name most wrestling fans associate with having great matches in WWE. The prior hires of former models landed Mendes a spot on the main roster despite not having the best in-ring skills. WWE eventually transitioned her into a manager and broadcaster.

The departure from WWE would see Rosa take a few years off from the ring before getting the itch to come back in 2018. Mendes wrestled two matches on the independent circuit last year for the MCW promotion. Rosa even attended a Ring of Honor show hoping to build connections for an opportunity there. Time will tell if she can get her foot in the door of a bigger promotion again.

17 Ryback: Taking time off from independent circuit

Ryback leaving WWE was a big story since WWE always had some level of faith in him. The huge push of Ryback to start his run with that character put him on the upper tier of wrestlers in the company. An inability to get over to the next level led to Ryback falling lower in the mid-card picture.

WWE still valued Ryback for the depth, but he requested to leave once his contract ended. Ryback has wrestled on the independent circuit for smaller promotions since leaving. However, he is taking some time off now to focus on other projects. The last few appearances for Ryback took place in NEW Wrestling back in the summer of 2018.

16 Sawyer Fulton: Independent circuit

Sawyer Fulton is the forgotten former member of the Sanity faction. The removal of Fulton left the core of Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe and Nikki Cross. Fulton was in the NXT system for quite some time trying to find a way to break out. It just never happened for him, and he would eventually get releases from his contract.

Fulton has continued wrestling on the independent scene trying to impress one of the bigger promotions to give him a shot. Independent companies like Chikara, TRUE Wrestling, Rockstar Pro Wrestling, and many others have brought him in. Fulton has even wrestled legends like Raven and Tommy Dreamer on the indie scene, but his hope is to land a contract with ROH or AEW.

15 Enzo Amore: Not wrestling

One big name to get fired from WWE and have zero interest in wrestling is Enzo Amore. The always controversial Enzo found success in NXT thanks to his wild personality. Enzo even did well enough on the main roster to sell merchandise well, but the problem was his attitude. WWE released him despite many believing in his potential.

Unlike most others to get released from WWE, Enzo is not trying to continue his wrestling career. The hope for him is to become a successful rapper after releasing a few seasons. Enzo did make wrestling headlines by sitting in the ringside area for Survivor Series and causing a disruption. That’s likely the last time we’ll see him on a WWE show. That said, Enzo was spotted with Big Cass at a recent ROH G1Supercard event when the duo rushed the match.

14 Simon Gotch: MLW

The tag team of Aiden English and Simon Gotch had strong potential in WWE thanks to the NXT run as Tag Team Champions. It never worked out on the main roster. Gotch would get released with WWE management not viewing him as having the same upside of English.

The post-WWE career of Gotch has seen him wrestling for many independent promotions. Gotch tried his luck in a few Ring of honor appearances before finding his primary place in MLW. A small television deal has MLW trying to grow and Gotch appears to be one of the names that will be a big part of their future. He still wrestles for smaller indie shows as well.

13 Ho Ho Lun: Wrestling in China

WWE hyped the signing of Ho Ho Lun to show their approach to scouting the international scene. Lun showed great potential as a young prospect making the move from Hong Kong. Appearances in the Cruiserweight Classic and on NXT showed that WWE wanted to do something with him.

Unfortunately, Lun would have to leave to help take care of his ailing mother. The request for a release was granted. Lun is still wrestling internationally for the Chinese promotion King of Pro Wrestling among other smaller international companies. His goal is to eventually return to WWE when life is stable, and he is an even better wrestler.

12 James Ellsworth: Independent circuit

James Ellsworth returning to WWE in 2018 was a big surprise when he helped Carmella defeat Asuka in multiple matches. This was the only purpose for Ellsworth in his second run as WWE would release him shortly after for the second time in as many years.

Ellsworth has continued wrestling on the independent circuit. He even made his own title called the Intergender Championship that he brings to various shows. Ellsworth has even appeared for relevant promotions like Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor (on Chris Jericho’s Cruise) and NWA. None has signed him to a contract which makes Ellsworth a free agent on the indie scene.

11 CJ Parker: New Japan and Ring of Honor

Former NXT talent CJ Parker made a bold move when asking for his release from WWE. Parker realized he was never going to move up the card until he improved and made a name for himself outside of WWE. He wanted to travel the path of friends like Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Finn Balor.

The new name of Juice Robinson would be his identity in New Japan. Following a run in the NJPW Dojo, Robinson became a fixture for the promotion. Various departures have Juice slotted as one of the top American names there and he is the current U.S. Champion. Ring of Honor also has Robinson as a top star for 2019 as he leads the new stable known as Lifeblood.

10 Summer Rae: Appears at shows in non-wrestling capacity

Summer Rae showed great potential during her time in NXT as a heel personality. Dusty Rhodes viewed her as a future star, but WWE did not showcase it at full potential. Following a few years of ups and downs, Summer would get released with a few others that weren’t doing much.

The post-WWE life for Summer has her mostly modeling and growing that aspect of her career under her real name of Danielle Moinet. Summer has not wrestled a match outside of WWE, but she has shown up at a few indie promotions to sign meet fans with autograph signings. The role of Summer has her still doing things in wrestling and many fans hope she will return to the ring at some point soon.

9 Adam Rose: Independent circuit

Adam Rose was one of the biggest busts to get called up from NXT and do nothing on the main roster. There was hope for Rose when his Exotic Express gimmick showcased the charming party animal with a group of friends in wild costumes dancing to the ring.

Rose could not make the gimmick work on the main roster as comedy characters typically don’t thrive. A few incidents would lead to WWE cutting ties with Rose and releasing him to free agency. Rose claimed to retire for a short time, but he has continued wrestling over the past for smaller promotions. MCW, ARW, and other lesser-known companies use Rose these days.

8 Tajiri: Wrestling in Japan

The legendary career of Tajiri in Japan has made him a top veteran there. North American fans also have a strong love for Tajiri due to his entertaining runs in both WWE and WCW. WWE brought Tajiri back for the cruiserweight division on 205 Live. Injury issues prevented Tajiri from getting an angle and WWE eventually decided to let him go.

Tajiri continues to wrestle at 48 years old in Japan today. All Japan Pro Wrestling is currently his main home along with appearances in other companies like Wrestle-1 and Big Japan. Tajiri will likely have a role in the Japanese wrestling circuit until he makes the decision to retire at some point.

7 Darren Young: Independent circuit

Darren Young had a solid run in WWE with his greatest success coming in the Prime Time Players tag team with Titus O’Neil. Both wrestlers worked well together and had a couple of WWE Tag Team Championship reigns during their time as a unit. WWE eventually split them up and Young could never find success as a singles wrestler.

WWE made the call to release Young just one day after he represented them at a WWE appreciation night for a Los Angeles Clippers game. Young has been involved in a few projects since leaving WWE and is still wrestling on the independent circuit. Promotions like Chikara, WrestleCade and Big Time Wrestling showcased him in 2018. Young is hoping to wrestle more and make bigger moves this year.

6 Santino Marella: Independent circuit

Santino Marella wrestled his final match for WWE in 2014 after gaining some injuries. The legacy of Santino is one of the greatest comedy wrestlers in WWE history. Santino’s style is simple enough for him to wrestle without taking too many risks or worrying about receiving injuries as easily as the average competitor.

Most fans missed Santino coming out of retirement a few years ago for limited appearances on the independent circuit. Santino has wrestled internationally for companies like BCW, UCW, and WrestleZone. Impact Wrestling also employs him for broadcasting work on the Twitch channel. A tag team dream team of Santino and Colt Cabana will see them unite for a WrestlePro soon as 2019 will see more bookings for Santino.

5 Wade Barrett: Lucha Underground and World of Sport

Wade Barrett has been very selective with his schedule since leaving WWE. The decision to walk away from the company was mostly inspired by the desire to chase an acting career. Barrett has filmed a few movies and enjoys that new field, but he has started taking steps to return to wrestling.

World of Sport has employed Barrett as an authority figure booking the matches and taking part in storylines without wrestling. Lucha Underground also brought him as a huge reveal at the end of last season which means he’d be a top star if another season is filmed. Barrett has not wrestled a match after WWE, but it seems like a matter of time before he does.

4 Austin Aries: Independent circuit

Austin Aries left WWE in 2017 after spending his main roster run in the cruiserweight division. There were a few cool moments like his NXT debut and competing at WrestleMania against Neville, but the fit was a bad one otherwise. Aries was released and seemed content to return to his old stomping grounds.

Impact Wrestling was the main home of Aries in 2018 before his contract expired and he left in controversial fashion. Aries is now a free agent wrestling for smaller promotions. WSW, Warrior Wrestling, and the Hawaiian promotion Unify Championship Wrestling have been the main promotions of Aries since leaving Impact.

3 Jack Swagger: Lucha Underground

The departure of Jack Swagger from WWE featured a rare former World Champion hitting the free agent market. Swagger only had one world title reign and it was a huge flop, but this showed that WWE once believed he could mature into a top star for them.

Life after WWE has seen Swagger wrestling for various independent promotions. Lucha Underground became his main home while still wrestling for smaller companies as well. Swagger ended the past season as the Lucha Underground Champion. A passion for MMA will also see him make his debut for Bellator in 2019. Swagger has a full schedule outside of WWE.

2 Emma: Ring of Honor

WWE did nothing of note with Emma and seemed to give up on her once it became apparent that she could not deliver on the Emmalina gimmick they wanted. Emma would get released despite being one of the best in-ring performers on the roster during her time in NXT.

The independent circuit has been kind to Emma as she has wrestled under her real name of Tenile Dashwood. Ring of Honor is the main home for Dashwood these days as she is still appearing while recovering from a serious injury. Dashwood is part of the Lifeblood faction and will be the face of the women’s division there once she’s cleared to compete.

1 Neville: All Elite Wrestling and Dragon Gate

Neville became one of the hottest free agents on the market in 2018 when WWE released him. The unhappy nature of being stuck in the cruiserweight division with no chance to move up led to Neville requesting his release. WWE kept him home for months before letting him walk as his contract expired.

Neville has mostly wrestled for the Japanese promotion Dragon Gate for personal happiness and loyalty since they booked him before he was a star. A few smaller UK promotions have had him on the card as well. Neville, however, made the biggest decision for his future when becoming one of the first major signings for All Elite Wrestling. He is expected to be one of the faces of the new company moving forward.

Netflix Just Released Thriller, A New Slasher From Blumhouse

Netflix has released the new Blumhouse film Thriller. Directed by Dallas Jackson, the slasher-style horror is set in South Central Los Angles and examines the deadly consequences of a prank gone wrong. Last September, Thriller first premiered at the LA Film Festival. Despite reports of a “surprise” release, Thriller’s premiere date has been on Netflix’s schedule.

In Thriller, Jason Woods stars as Chauncey Page, a student who gets to sent to a youth detention center after accidentally killing a woman. Four years later, he returns to his Compton community during homecoming weekend and wreaks havoc in the style of Halloween’s Michael Myers. Thriller’s score was composed by RZA, an original member of the Wu-Tang Clan and one of the hip-hop genre’s most accomplished producers. RZA also has a main role in Thriller, and he’s one of the film’s co-producers as well. Thriller co-stars former Everybody Hates Chris actors Tequan Richmond and Paige Hurd, along with Mykelti Williamson (The Purge: Election Year) and Vanessa Bell Calloway (Coming to America).

Thriller is now available to stream on Netflix. RZA’s score is similar to John Carpenter’s iconic Halloween score, though Thriller’s villain dons a hood rather than a mask. Genre fans may recognize the name of Thriller’s cinematographer, as Mac Fisken has previously filmed lower-budget horror productions like Pod, Darling, and Carnage Park – all of which were directed by Mickey Keating, the host of Shudder’s The Core series. Thriller marks the directorial debut of the aforementioned Jackson, who previously executive produced the BET series Rebel starring Method Man and Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito, and served as a consulting producer for TeenNick’s South of Nowhere. Check out the Thriller poster below.

As for Netflix, the streaming service does indeed have a history of surprise releases, even if Thriller isn’t one of them. In 2018, Netflix released The Cloverfield Paradox after Super Bowl 53, and the franchise film wasn’t well received by critics and general streamers. Last December, Netflix released the mysterious interactive film Bandersnatch, a stand-alone extension of the Black Mirror franchise. During the ensuing months, streamers discovered various secrets embedded within the Bandersnatch experience, resulting in even more revelations. Just last month, Netflix surprise-released the Blumhouse horror film Mercy Black, directed by Owen Egerton and starring Daniella Pineda alongside Austin Amelio.

To begin 2019, Blumhouse released the theatrical films Glass, Happy Death Day 2U, and Jordan Peele’s Us. Since then, they’ve released Mercy Black, Stockholm, and now Thriller. While there seems to be a difference in production value between the two groups, a film like Thriller may please genre fans that appreciate a throwback 1980s aesthetic. Even more, the all-black cast displays Netflix and Blumhouse’s willingness to tell diverse stories.

Charlie’s Angels Is A Continuation, Not A Reboot; First Photos Released

Director Elizabeth Banks says her Charlie’s Angels is a continuation rather than a reboot or remake, as first look photos from the movie are released. Premiering in 1976, the original Charlie’s Angels TV series starred Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith as a trio of female super-spies working for a mysterious figure named Charles Townsend (voiced by John Forsythe). Now viewed as a campy artifact of the ’70s “Jiggle TV” genre, the show would last for five seasons, rotating in different lead actresses including Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts.

Though many decried Charlie’s Angels for its sexism, the show retained enough of a cult following over the years to spawn a 2000 feature film starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. The movie was a hit with $264 million at the global box office, leading to a sequel in 2003’s Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Now, amid a wave of early ’00s franchise revivals, Charlie’s Angels is set to return to theaters with Banks in the director’s chair and a new trio of Angels played by Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska. A first photo of the new Angels was recently released, as the film wrapped shooting.

Speaking to EW about her new take on Charlie’s Angels, writer, director and star Banks addressed the question of whether her movie is actually a reboot or remake. In fact, Banks says it’s neither of those but is in truth a continuation that incorporates the events of both the original series and the two movies directed by McG. As Banks explains it, Charles Townsend is still in business but has simply expanded his reach. “If you were rich in 1976, you only got richer. Charles Townsend is richer than ever, so he’s grown the business into a global spy agency,” she said. In addition to Banks’ remarks, EW also released some new photos from the film which can be seen below:

Indeed, the new movie is set to be more of a globe-trotting adventure in the vein of James Bond, a fact that was teased in a previous photo. The film takes place in Istanbul, Hamburg and Berlin, but according to Banks it’s not simply about hopping the globe. In fact, it’s really about doing a job as a team. As she explained:

“It was important to me to make a movie about women working together and supporting each other, and not make a movie about their romantic entanglements or their mother they don’t call enough. When I’m at work, I don’t talk about those things. I get on with my job. It felt important to do that for the Angels, to treat them with the respect their skill set demands.”

Banks clearly is out to make a new kind of Charlie’s Angels movie for an era where more accurately representing female characters is higher on the agenda than simply playing to the male gaze as the original show and the previous movies may have done. Of course, Banks is the first female writer-director to tackle Charlie’s Angels, so the new version is naturally going to have a more female perspective than previous takes. It will be interesting to see if Charlie’s Angels can carve out a place for itself in this new era where movies like Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel have opened up the door for female-centered action-adventure movies to become blockbusters.

Batman: Hush Animated Movie First Look Image Released; Cast Confirmed

Here’s a first look image from the forthcoming Batman: Hush animated movie, along with confirmation of the film’s voice cast. Originally a 2002-2003 comic arc by renowned comic writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee, Batman: Hush is a widely-loved part of the Caped Crusader’s canon and marked the debut of the story’s titular villain: a mysterious bandage-covered sociopath determined to take down the Batman for reasons unknown. The arc features an array of popular characters, both allies and villains, and even includes the mighty Superman in a sizeable role.

Due to the arc’s popularity, there has been strong interest throughout the years in bringing Hush to life in animated form and in 2016, reports began to emerge suggesting such a project was underway via teases from long-serving voice actors Kevin Conroy (Bruce Wayne/Batman) and Mark Hamill (Joker). Two years later, a Batman: Hush animated movie was officially announced with a mid-2019 release date. Back in January, a reported cast list was revealed but surprisingly omitted Conroy and Hamill, instead featuring a few more surprising names.

Related: The TRUE Origin Of Batman’s Logo Is Finally Revealed

IGN have now confirmed the cast list for Batman: Hush and have also released a first look image from the film. The cast is as follows: Jason O’Mara as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jennifer Morrison as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, Rainn Wilson as Lex Luther, Sean Maher as Nightwing, Bruce Thomas as Jim Gordon, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne, James Garrett as Alfred, Maury Sterling as Hush, Geoffrey Arend as Riddler, Vanessa Williams as Amanda Waller, Jason Spisak as Joker, Adam Gifford as Bane, Peyton List as Poison Ivy and Batgirl, Dachie Alessio as Lady Shiva and Tara Strong as an unnamed reporter. The image shows Hush‘s version of Batman and can be seen below:

Given Conroy and Hamill’s strong interest in the Hush project, it’s somewhat curious that they haven’t been included on this occasion, despite their history in the animated realm of Batman. With that said, Jason O’Mara has voiced the Caped Crusader in the past and others such as Jerry O’Connell, Rainn Wilson and Rebecca Romijn are also names that many DC animation fans will already be familiar with. The cast does, however, include a few pleasant surprises. Peyton List has already portrayed Poison Ivy on Gotham, so her addition presents a nice piece of franchise continuity and veteran voice actress Tara Strong has previously played Harley Quinn in other animated features. Could she secretly be reprising the role in Hush?

As for the image, even though only Batman is featured, it’s clear that Hush will feature a different visual style to the comic source material and will be more in line with other animated movies such as Gotham Knight and Son of Batman, the latter of which also starred O’Mara as the famous vigilante. It’ll be fascinating to see this sleeker version of Batman take on the Hush story.

Avengers: Endgame Poster Re-Released With Danai Gurira’s Name After Fan Outrage

An updated version of the Avengers: Endgame poster is released to include a credit for Danai Gurira after fan outrage online. Marvel Studios surprised everyone this morning with the release of the full Avengers: Endgame trailer for the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It continues an unorthodox marketing approach for Avengers: Endgame, which is hiding as much of the plot as possible, and instead highlighting the characters who will lead the final installment of Phase 3.

The unquestioned stars of the film are the original six Avengers: Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, Chris Evans’ Captain America, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, and Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye. While the plan to reverse Thanos’ snap from the end of Avengers: Infinity War isn’t entirely clear, we do know that they’ll get help from other surviving heroes. Fans have been most excited for Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man to join the team, and the entire roster of heroes assembled to star in the official poster for Endgame. Everyone from Thanos to Rocket to Danai Gurira’s Okoye were shown – but Gurira was noticeably lacking from the billing portion of the poster.

Related: Avengers: Endgame Trailer 2 Breakdown

The lack of recognition for the Black Panther star quickly became the source of some outrage online by fans who were furious that Marvel did not credit her with the rest of the film’s pictured stars. It took them a few hours, but Marvel has now re-released the Endgame poster to include a credit for Gurira. They shared the new design on social media saying: “She should have been up there all this time.”

The outrage online over Gurira’s absence from the poster is justifiable, as every other star featured on the poster was credited on the originally released version. It isn’t clear why Gurira was left off the billing to begin with, but at least Marvel fixed their oversight in a reasonable amount of time. Interestingly, Gurira has yet to be shown in any new footage in Endgame‘s marketing, so even though they’re now giving her proper billing, they are still largely concealing her role.

With Gurira featured in the poster (and now credited), it’s hopefully a sign that she will have a semi-important role to play in Endgame. Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and possibly Shuri (Letitia Wright) were victims of the snap, so Okoye’s leadership and commitment to Wakanda may be all the more important in the current state of the world. How Wakanda factors into Endgame is currently a mystery, and there’s yet to be any sign that Okoye will join the Avengers on whatever missions they go on. Thankfully, there are only a few more weeks left before Avengers: Endgame hits theaters and we’ll get to know exactly what role Okoye has to play here.

Avengers: Endgame Super Bowl TV Spot Released

UPDATE: Read our full breakdown of the Avengers: Endgame Super Bowl spot here.

Marvel Studios debuts an Avengers: Endgame Super Bowl TV spot during the big game. After marking their 10th anniversary in 2018, Marvel Studios has another big year ahead of them in 2019. First, Captain Marvel joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe in her own solo movie. Then, Phase 3 of the MCU comes to a close with the release of Avengers: Endgame, marking the end of the shared universe’s story so far. Last, Marvel and Sony are kicking off Phase 4 with Spider-Man: Far From Home, the sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Of the three MCU movies set to hit theaters this year, Avengers: Endgame is arguably the most highly anticipated. Not only does it bring Phase 3 to a close, it will also conclude the story after the cliffhanger ending of Avengers: Infinity War. At the end of the 2018 film, Thanos had used the Infinity Gauntlet to snap away half of life in the universe in an event called the Decimation. Endgame picks up some time after the Decimation and sees the surviving Avengers working together to save the world and defeat Thanos once and for all. After Marvel Studios built up fan excitement for the Avengers: Endgame trailer to a fever pitch, they unveiled the first footage late last year. Now, even more footage debuts in the movie’s Super Bowl spot.

Marvel Studios unveiled the Avengers: Endgame Super Bowl TV spot during the game on CBS, and it has since been made available online. The first trailer for Avengers: Endgame offered glimpses of the surviving heroes but gave fans little insight into what to truly expect from the movie – aside from the characters dealing with the fallout of being defeated by Thanos and the Decimation. Watch the new Avengers: Endgame footage below.

The full cast of Avengers: Endgame hasn’t been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios. Fans can expect the surviving superheroes from Infinity War to return, including all six original Avengers: Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) – though he’ll be donning his Ronin superhero suit in this movie. Further, a number of their allies are still alive, like Nebula (Karen Gillan), Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). Presumably they’ll also be joined by Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), who was called to Earth by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) in the Infinity War post-credits scene.

The Avengers: Endgame Super Bowl spot offers more new footage of the returning characters, including Cap in what appears to be a support group for those left behind after the Decimation, as well as Tony Stark and Nebula working on a ship – presumably the ship they left Titan on. The TV spot also features the heroes in a number of different locations, hinting at the epic scale of the movie. At least fans looking forward to Avengers: Endgame won’t have to wait much longer to see the film itself, with less than three months until it hits theaters.

Avengers: Endgame FIRST Trailer Released

UPDATE: Read our Avengers: Endgame trailer breakdown.

Marvel Studios released the first Avengers: Endgame movie trailer. Marvel Studios marked the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2018 with three new releases: Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp. All three were (mostly) well received by critics and fans alike, while the former two also broke a number of box office records each. Now, fans are looking ahead to 2019, when Marvel Studios will release another three entries in the MCU. First, Captain Marvel will introduce Brie Larson’s titular hero, then Avengers: Endgame will wrap up the story of the MCU thus far, and Spider-Man: Far From Home will kick off Phase 4 with another adventure following Peter Parker (Tom Holland).

Of the three, Avengers: Endgame is arguably the most highly anticipated Marvel Studios release of 2019. Not only will it conclude Phase 3 of the MCU, it will also pick up from the cliffhanger ending of Avengers: Infinity War, in which Thanos (Josh Brolin) collected the Infinity Stones in the Infinity Gauntlet and snapped his fingers, effectively turning half the universe to dust. Since many of the universe’s heroes were erased, only a few remain, including original Avengers Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Other heroes to survive include Captain Marvel and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), who will also appear in the upcoming movie.

Now, Marvel has released the very first trailer for Avengers: Endgame, teasing what comes next for the heroes who survived Thanos’ snap, called the Decimation, which wiped out half of life in the universe. The trailer also finally confirms the official title of Avengers 4 to be Endgame, which was widely speculated but shot down by directors Anthony and Joe Russo. Further, the trailer confirms a release date change for Avengers: Endgame from May to April, but doesn’t reveal exactly which day in April 2019 the movie will hit theaters. Take a look at the trailer below.

As perhaps could have been predicted, the Avengers: Endgame trailer picks up with each of the original Avengers following the Decimation. Tony is stranded in space after being left on Titan without most of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man. However, Nebula was left on Titan with him and it’s unclear where she is, though she may also be on the ship we see Tony in. Back on Earth, we see Captain America having a particularly rough time with losing to Thanos and Black Widow tracking down Hawkeye (who’s become Ronin at this point), while Bruce Banner and Thor are briefly shown. Lastly, Ant-Man appears at the end of the trailer, seemingly having rescued himself from being stranded in the Quantum Realm in the post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Altogether, it’s a fairly standard Marvel Studios trailer, but it previews arguably their biggest movie yet and will no doubt be dissected by fans hoping to learn every secret it reveals about the upcoming film. Whether the Avengers: Endgame trailer and title reveal deliver on the hype for the movie is up to the fans, especially after what seemed to be a prolonged wait. But with Avengers: Endgame now releasing in April instead of May 2019, at least fans have a little bit of a shorter wait for the actual movie than previously believed.

Captain Marvel FULL Trailer Released by Marvel Studios

UPDATE: Read our breakdown of the Captain Marvel trailer.

Marvel Studios releases the Captain Marvel movie full trailer, after teasing its debut with a new Captain Marvel poster yesterday. Following a blockbuster 10th anniversary year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2018, the studio is returning in 2019 with three highly anticipated movies. While Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home will conclude Phase 3 and kick off Phase 4, respectively, Captain Marvel is an equally noteworthy installment of the MCU. It not only marks Brie Larson’s official introduction as Carol Danvers aka. Captain Marvel, it will also be Marvel Studios’ first movie solely headlined by a female character. Plus, it’ll be the first MCU film co-directed by a woman, with Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck at the helm.

Marvel Studios unveiled the first Captain Marvel movie trailer in September, which offered fans their first glimpse at Carol Danvers in action. Of course, the superhero’s arrival in the MCU was also teased earlier this year by the Avengers: Infinity War post-credits scene, in which Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) called Captain Marvel for help following Thanos completing his goal of wiping out half of all life in the universe. For the character’s first solo movie, Captain Marvel is set in the 90s, before the main MCU storyline kicked off with Iron Man. Now, Marvel fans can get even more insight into this period superhero movie with the latest Captain Marvel trailer.

Marvel Studios released the Captain Marvel movie full trailer today, revealing new footage from the upcoming blockbuster film. Check out the new Captain Marvel trailer below.

In addition to Larson, Captain Marvel introduces new characters including Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch), Minn-Erva (Gemma Chan) and a mysterious character played by Jude Law. Plus Captain Marvel sees the return of MCU favorites Nick Fury and Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), as well as Guardians of the Galaxy’s Korath (Djimon Hounsou) and Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace). For his part, Fury plays a big part of the new Captain Marvel trailer, seemingly becoming Carol’s key contact on Earth and helping her discover her true history.

The trailer also dives into explaining Skrulls, as well as the Kree-Skrull War, the comic book event around which Captain Marvel is set. But while there are scenes that seem to showcase the war being waged in space – and those effectively tease the visual spectacle fans can expect from the movie – much of the video focuses on Carol seeking out her real identity. However, the actual story of Captain Marvel is a little unclear, perhaps to keep certain elements of the plot under wraps and prevent spoilers. After all, Marvel won’t reveal Law’s character’s name, and may not until the movie hits theaters.

But while there’s plenty we don’t know about Captain Marvel, the latest trailer does work to offer more insight into what to expect from the Carol Danvers origin story. To get the full story, fans will have to catch Captain Marvel in theaters next year.
