Boney Kapoor’s domestic help tests positive for COVID-19, says he and his daughters Janhvi and Khushi are not showing any symptoms

Film producer Boney Kapoor has informed that domestic help at his residence at Green Acres, Lokhandwala Complex, Charan Sahu aged 23 years, has tested positive for Coronavirus. He was unwell on Saturday evening and Mr Kapoor sent him for tests and kept him in isolation. After receiving the test report, the Society Authorities were informed, who in turn informed the BMC. Immediately BMC and State Govt Authorities have started the process of getting him into a quarantine center.

Talking about his help testing positive, Boney Kapoor said, “Myself, my children and the other staff at home are all fine and none of us are showing any symptoms. In fact we haven’t left our home since the lockdown started. We are thankful to the Govt of Maharashtra and BMC for their swift response. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by BMC and their medical team. We are sure that Charan would soon recover and be back at home with us.”

Sridevi’s daughters Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor also live in the same house with their father Boney Kapoor and have been regularly keeping their fans updated on their lives through social media.

The actor recently announced that he is currently under complete lockdown with his sister, but since they both have been asymptomatic, they haven’t been tested for it. He also mentioned how being an actor worked as a privilege for him to get a bed for his mom in the hospital. He says that he had to make some calls and pull some strings, he is thankful for the work that he does and those that helped him out during this difficult time. He is constantly in touch with his mother over the phone and she helps him out with a lot of things at home.

Satyajeet further mentioned how the doctor said that even a currency note could be a carrier. He’s hoping that his mother and all those affected by the pandemic come out stronger than earlier.

Freddy Daruwala’s father tests positive for COVID-19, BMC seals his bungalow

Actor Freddy Daruwala’s father has tested positive for Covid-19 and his bungalow has been sealed by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) as a mandatory protocol. He said that his father had symptoms like that of seasonal flu and body ache.

While, at first, they took it lightly, but after three-four days, they took him for a test which came out positive. Freddy revealed that BMC suggested to keep him in a place with many rooms and washrooms. So they decided to keep his father at home as hospital beds could be used by other patients.

Before sealing the bungalow, BMC sanitized the entire premises and put up a notice outside of the residence. His father is 62 and the actor said home isolation wasn’t an issue since the bungalow had many rooms. Freddy Daruwala said that he is concerned about his 15-month old son Evaan.

T-Series office sealed after caretaker tests positive for coronavirus

While the country is in lockdown, the cases of Covid-19 have seen a rapid increase. As per the latest reports, the office building of the music label T-Series has been sealed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) after one of their caretakers was tested positive for coronavirus.

According to the T-Series spokesperson, the caretakers were working and staying in the office premises in Andheri, Mumbai. Some of the caretakers were migrants who couldn’t go back to their hometowns amid lockdown. The building has all the facilities including rooms, kitchen. Two-three people are getting tested as they developed symptoms and their reports are yet to be received. The BMC has sealed the office for safety purposes. The office has been shut since March 15.

T-Series’ spokesperson said that the company has followed the lockdown protocols since the first day itself. The company has assured to take care of in-house staff and take the necessary precautions.
