Vanderpump Rules’ Stassi is Overwhelmed by Kristen Drama

Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder is beyond overwhelmed by her drama with co-star Kristen Doute. She’s ready for filming of the current season to be over.

Filming for Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules – a reality show documenting the lives of servers at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant SUR – is underway and there’s already been several blowout fights between cast members. One in particular happened between Schroeder, Doute, and their co-star Katie Maloney, when the women were at an event for their new rosé brand, Witches of WeHo. While they haven’t discussed the specifics of their argument, Schroeder said it had something to do with friend drama. Things got so bad that Schroeder and Maloney were the only two Vanderpump Rules cast members not to show at Doute’s recent T-shirt event.

Schroeder opened up on an episode of her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, about how overwhelmed she is by all this drama with Doute. The reality TV star said she was in the “homestretch” of filming Season 8 and that her brain was “mush.” Her fiancé Beau Clark, with whom Schroeder recently got engaged, agreed with her, saying his emotions were “shot,” adding that filming Season 7 was “so much more fun.” Schroeder continued, saying the drama was “killing” her and that she couldn’t “talk about sh*t anymore.” She added that she was “dead inside.”

None of the cast members of Vanderpump Rules have spilled the details about their feud, but fans noticed something was up when Doute didn’t show at Clark and Schroeder’s engagement party. Doute was also absent from Maloney and cast member Tom Schwartz’s Las Vegas wedding earlier this year. Schroeder’s mom, Dayna, later confirmed on Instagram that the friends were fighting, but she sounded hopeful that they would work it out, writing that it was the “circle of life” and that they’d all come back together stronger than ever. However, it sounds like Schroeder isn’t quite there just yet.

Maybe the Witches of WeHo’s friendship will be in a better place by the time the next season of Vanderpump Rules airs, which is expected to be later this year. Knowing this group, things are bound to get better soon – and then worse again, etc. That said, seeing as they’re all so unpredictable, only will tell how long it will ultimately take for a friendly resolution to come.
